Working within the Ophthalmology Department, you'll provide a comprehensive service of booking patients into Consultant waiting lists, liaising with the Ophthalmology ward and the Theatre team.

The hours will cover Monday to Friday 4 hours a day starting after -

Base Location: Bournemouth

Interview Date: TBC

Main duties of the job

The Suitable candidate will have excellent verbal and communication skills, work to deadlines of adding patients to the waiting lists and booking of patients in chronological order that meets the RTT guidance. Prepping of the hospital notes for the theatre sessions. Liaising with the ward to ensure beds are available for those patients who need it post surgery. Booking pre assessment appointments for the up and coming admission dates.
