Atlas Copco, a multinational company renowned for collaboration, innovation, and sustainability, invites talented UK students working towards an Undergraduate or master’s degree in environmental sciences or a related field to join our Global Industrial Internship program. This unique opportunity allows you to work alongside international peers, tackle real-life challenges, engage with mentors, and participate in exclusive in-house study programs with our vice presidents, both virtually and physically.

Internship Overview:

As an Environment and Sustainability Intern at Atlas Copco IAS UK, you will work part-time alongside your studies and transition to full-time during the summer, contributing to our sustainability initiatives. Under the guidance of a mentor and collaboration with colleagues, you'll be involved in diverse projects, gaining exposure to climate and environmental areas, process development, analyses, and supporting the local Safety, Health and Environment Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to sustainability, climate and environmental projects.Engage in process development and system improvement.Collaborate on analyses and sustainability initiatives.Manage projects independently or in collaboration with peers.Participate in in-house study programs with company leadership.

Requirements:

Currently at least two years into an Undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field.Demonstrated passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Basic knowledge and experience in process/system improvement.Curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset, and motivation to gain practical experience.Availability to work full-time during the summer.Ability to work from our offices in Deeside, UK.
