  • Thisposition is in Precision Genomics St. Louis Production Genotypinglabs and other departments.
  • The candidate will be working collaboratively with alarge production team of FTEs and contractors to deliver daily andweekly genotyping targets under tight deadlines.
  • The candidate will primarily beresponsible for monitoring managing and procurement of PrecisionGenomics inventory and supplies.
  • The role will also include additional varioustasks in sample receiving reagent inventory auditing and variouslab inventory related tasks.
  • Must have supply management skills.
Desired skills for the ideal candidate: Communication:
  • This role success and failure relies on thecandidates communications skills.
  • The candidate must be willing to communicateacross multiple modes of action.
  • This will include verbal over the phonethrough emails and on social media voice over internet protocolapplications such as Teams.
  • The candidate also must be able to communicate with awide range of people with different backgrounds.
Computer literacy:
  • Must befamiliar with using computers and analytical software or at leastwilling to learn how to use a variety of analytical software to besuccessful at the position.
  • For example Spotfire or Maintenance Connection.
  • Must be willing touse tracking software to monitor supplies.
  • Experience with python is a plus. Need acandidate who is willing to use various technologies to succeed atthe position.
Demonstrate reliability:
  • This is a businesscritical position to keepour department running 7 days a week across multiple shifts.
  • The candidate mustbe a reliable presence on site.
  • Position may require flexible or off shift hours duringpeak times.
HighThroughput/production/Inventory management:
  • PrecisionGenomics is comprised of multiple smaller functional teams withvarious high throughput process all with fast turnaround times.
  • Any experiencehandling large inventory with variable use rates or in a fastpacedenvironment (retail food service etc) is a plus. Experience withLIMS is a plus.
Agility:
  • Thecandidate will need to respond to events as they come and takeappropriate action sometimes on their own.
  • This role will face various challengesunknown challenges in which the candidate must be able to divert asneeded.
Innovative:
  • Thecandidate must be able to reorganize and develop solutions to notonly physical store areas but also digital formatting of theinventory.
  • Criticalthinking and problemsolving skills are also needed in this area.
Attention to detail:
  • Need tobe thorough and accurate for this role no matter how large or smallthe task accuracy is key.
Company Ally:
  • The candidate will be talking with vendors onthe companies and group behalf; thus the candidate must be ablerepresent the company in a professional manner but also rigidenough to not allow vendors to rout them.
  • Willing to integrate into the high throughputenvironment culture.
Primary Duties
  • Manage Precision Genomics inventory.
  • Counting trackingorders moving inventory Giving updates on the supply.
Inventory Data analytics:
  • Developing and maintaining inventoryanalytics using a variety of analytical software. For Examplespotfire or Maintenance Connection.
  • Input data and interpret the data to labteams.
  • Working withvendors on any ordering issues and planning
  • Coordinate with lab team memberson their needs.
  • Finding alternatives for backorders
  • Communicate with differentfunctional teams.
  • Ordering office supplies.
SecondaryDuties
  • (These are lab goals related to inventorylogistics but can fulfill lab objectives)
  • Asist in receiving.
  • Audit assay inventory stock
  • Maintaining communication withexternal Precision Genomics teams.
  • Perform inventory audits for multiple groupswithin Precision Genomics
  • 13 Years of Experience
  • Minimal education: Associate degree
