A month fixed term / secondment opportunity has arisen for a Band a Breast Reconstruction Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Lead Nurse to work full time alongside the Breast Reconstruction Clinical Nurse Specialist.
This is an exciting opportunity to Lead the delivery of care to support patients undergoing all aspects of care within their Breast Reconstruction journey.
The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to:
-Work at an advanced clinical level drawing on a diverse range of knowledge in complex decision making to determine evidence-based therapeutic interventions.-
-Supervise the delivery of advanced clinical care by trainee ACPs and all team members ensuring that the appropriate standards are maintained at all times.
-Coordinate and participate in ongoing service review and evaluation, including seeking and monitoring patient experience and outcomes.

Main duties of the jobThe main responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to:

-Advocate and manage a working environment that promotes continuous learning and development, evidence based practice and succession planning, as well as identifying learning opportunities at local, trust-wide and national levels.

Specialist Surgery Directorate is part of the Neuroscience, Orthopaedic, Trauma and Specialist Surgery (NOTSS)Division. The Directorate consists of ENT, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Blenheim Head & Neck and Oral Maxillo-Facial surgery, Orthodontics and Restorative dentistry.
