School Admin Assistant

Location: Brigg, North Lincolnshire

Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day

Contract: Temporary, Full Time (initially for 6 weeks)

Start: September 2024

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated School Admin Assistant to join our team in Lincolnshire. This is your opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a school and make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students and staff.

The Role:

As a School Admin Assistant, you will be at the heart of the school's administrative functions, ensuring everything runs efficiently. Your role will involve managing records, handling communications, and providing essential support to the school's leadership and teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate student records and school databases.
  • Handle school correspondence, including emails and phone calls, professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and events for staff and students.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Support the school's finance department with budgeting and invoicing tasks.
  • Provide a welcoming and efficient reception service for students, parents, and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school management software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is preferred but not essential.
