About the job :

We require an enthusiastic and organised individual to provide clerical support to the Drivers in the Bournemouth area.

The successful candidate will require good interpersonal and communication skills, as this role will require you to deal with staff on a one-to-one basis as well as liaising with the whole of the Drivers function and other stakeholders in the business.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Production of regular reports Dealing with internal and external customers Ordering of stores and invoicing Minute taking as required along with general administrative duties Managing the depot's delay attribution

As a minimum, you will need to have:

The ability to work under pressure is a distinct requirement of this role Sound knowledge of IT systems including Word, Excel and Office Must be highly organised and methodical Must have good attention to detail and be self-motivated Must be customer focussed and willing to work as part of a small team

About the location:

Bournemouth Depot is home to a number of South Western Railway's fleet. The engineering team at the depot are currently responsible for numerous projects such as the major component overhaul work on the 159 fleet, the Desiro repaint on the class 444's and 450's and the latest modification project on our exciting new Arterio fleet that is set to transform travel on our suburban routes by offering customers much faster and more reliable journeys

Working pattern:

You will work an average of 37 hours across a 5 day week

07:45 - 15:25
