Purpose of role
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual willing to learn the operational requirements of a fast-moving stores and become a key member of the team. All training will be provided.
Summary of responsibilities:
You will be trained and mentored to become familiar and competent with all functions relating to the operations of the Stores department:
Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received. Liaising with Purchasing with regard to deliveries and discrepancies in stock. Keeping detailed records of shortages and processing of requisitions. Updating inventory management systems regularly and ensure full lot traceability is maintained Picking goods in line with shopfloor requirements. Organising collection and despatch of delivering goods through 3rd party software. Ensuring all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions.Skills , attributes and experience
Proficient user of all Microsoft packages especially Excel. Confident communicator. Willingness to learn. Positive attitude Minimum 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English)
