About the role This is a senior influential role partnering with the President of our International business requiring an innovative, collaborative, customer-centric approach. In this role, you will be accountable for creating the vision and people strategy for the international business which covers D&B’s owned markets in Europe, India and Asia. You will be part of the International Management Committee as well as the Global People Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with the local country People Team leaders and their teams, the Global People Team Business Partners and Centres of Excellence as well as the local International leaders. This role is strategically important to delivering growth across the international business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an active member of the International Management Committee you will work with the team setting priorities and delivering against the corporate strategic objectives to drive growth across the international business. As leader of the International People Team you will ensure you have the right talent and resources to support the success and commitments of the international business. Collaboration with our Global Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development) and Global Business Partners to implement people initiatives across international. Full responsibility and accountability for local workforce planning, payroll, succession planning, employee relations and leadership development. Tracking of objectives against metrics and presenting a Quarterly Business Review Leading the organisation design process, planning and integration of recent strategic acquisitions across multiple countries. Driving operational consistency across international people team through the local People Service Centres. Oversight of the International Site Leaders driving programmes to sustain and build our sense of culture and community in the locations to help create a sense of pride and accountability across the team

Key Attributes

Strong business acumen with ability to influence key stakeholders & shape strategic direction. Outstanding leadership capabilities, defined as excellent communication skills, clear ability to motivate, coach and guide team effort, and an ability to manage according to measurable standards. Able to lead in a matrixed structure and geographically dispersed environment. Takes full ownership and accountability and seeks to drive improvement & efficiencies. Experienced leveraging and interpreting HR data and driving HR analytics as a component of decision making. Strong analytical and strategic skills that allow the individual to recognize, evaluate and course-correct as needed to achieve operational and strategic objectives.

About You

Educated to degree level in HR/Business related subject CIPD qualified Extensive experience of People Team Leadership in complex global multi-cultural environments Experience working internationally – especially with Europe. India and Asia experience helpful.
