Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse, ODP or Theatre Practitioner with a passion for working within the theatre scrub team or a novice with the drive to learn a challenging, interesting and rewarding role working within the neuro and spinal theatre portfolio.
If you have ambition and drive we will support you in achieving your goals.
The speciality provides an operating service to the following clinical areas;
Plastics
ENT / Paediatric
OMFS
Emergency

Leadership and Improvement Training
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. RN or ODP with an active professional registration with either the RCN or HCPC Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Operating Department practice
Desirable criteria
Recognisable teaching qualification
Knowledge & Experience

Knowledge and experience of providing person cantered care Commitment to evidence based practice Ability to use initiative to make a decision within sphere of work and/or knowledge recognising where assistance is required Disclosure and Barring Checks (DBS)
It is now the policy of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who are new to the Trust who require DBS clearance for the post they have been offered, are required to pay the cost of their DBS. The method of payment for this is via salary deduction from your first month's pay.
