A private family residing in a beautiful four-storey home in the heart of Kensington are looking for an experienced housekeeper on a 6 month basis (possibly more). The residence features five bedrooms and a welcoming atmosphere. The family also have a pet cat.


Responsibilities:

  • Thorough cleaning and upkeep of the entire home, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
  • Laundry duties: washing, ironing, and organising clothes and linens.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas.
  • Managing household supplies and reordering as necessary.
  • Occasional pet care for our cat, ensuring it is fed.
  • Assisting with any other household tasks as needed.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private home or similar setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with excellent references.
  • Comfortable working around pets, particularly cats.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Happy to commit to a 6 month contract.
