Casual Catering Assistant – Hub & Founder’s Dining Hall

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.

Rate of pay: £12.35 per hour

We require catering staff to work in either the Hub dining hall or Founder’s dining hall.

Your role will be serving food and drink to large groups of people whilst remaining calm under pressure.

The ideal candidate must be motivated by people and be a team player; the expectations are high, as are our standards. 

To be successful in this post you will need:

To be focused on delivering inspirational customer service Strong communication skills To be punctual, reliable, and consistent To be a team player working closely with your peers To be friendly and approachable To be a positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude (be proactive, not reactive) Excellent attention to detail

You will need to be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week from mid-June to mid-August, and be prepared to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
