Job Description

Deputy Nurse Manager (Supernumerary)

Hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

Salary: £52,000

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our client's team. As a Deputy Nurse Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the overall management and leadership of the nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse with leadership experience to make a positive impact and ensure the highest quality of care for their residents.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse, RGN (Registered General Nurse) or RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) qualification and UK NMC Pin
  • Proven experience in a senior nursing role, with strong leadership and management abilities
  • Sound knowledge of nursing best practices, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursing team and overall nursing operation
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care
  • Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, assessments, and medication management
  • Act as a mentor and trainer for nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and person-centered care for residents
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care
