Tenancy Support Officer

Up to £30,743.39 per annum

37 hours per week

This role is based at Harbour House, Port Way, Preston, PR2 2DW


What will you be doing in this role?

The Tenancy Support Officer will provide a range of advice and support to customers who wish to end their tenancy, ensuring keys are returned in a timely manner and income is maximised for the customer and CGA.

In addition you will support the Income Recovery Team to investigate suspected abandoned properties, trace missing tenants and where appropriate, bring the tenancy to a successful end.


What we are looking for in you:

  • You'll have experience of providing front facing customer service and working within a performance driven environment
  • You'll have knowledge of housing legislation and a good understanding of welfare benefits
  • You'll respond proactively to change and effectively manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • You'll have excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • You must have a driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use as you will be visiting our customers in their homes


It would be great if you also had:

  • Strong financial skills
  • Experience of working in a similar environment
