Position Available: Assistant Restaurant Manager 

About Us: NIJŪ is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. Situated on Berkeley Street, Mayfair, we specialize in ‘Katei Ryori’ style cooking, delivering the essence of home-cooked Japanese cuisine to our guests. Led by Culinary Director Chef Endo Kazutoshi, a renowned third-generation sushi master, our team is committed to culinary excellence and creativity.


 Key Responsibilities:

 Guest Experience: enhance and personalize the dining experience, ensuring each guest feels valued and leaves with memorable moments.

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Team Leadership: Work closely with the team to maintain the highest standards of service and quality.

Regular Guest Relations: Build and maintain relationships with regular guests, understanding their preferences and ensuring their expectations are consistently met.

Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Presentation & Logistics: Manage the logistics of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless transition from the foyer to the restaurant via our private elevator.


Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a high-end, fine dining environment is required. The candidate must have a proven track record of elevating restaurant standards to the highest levels.

Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.

Passion: A genuine passion for creating outstanding dining experiences and a deep appreciation for culinary arts.

Legal Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the business.
