£17.60 per hour

Job Opportunity
  • Accurate rostering and forward planning of all direct reporting Officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness and absences.
  • All Security Officers are spoken to at least once a month, proactively monitoring performance, maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring coaching, counselling and any investigations are implemented in line with company policy and procedures as necessary.
  • All incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
  • Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve service effectiveness.
  • Planning, development and implementing staff training, including both routine duties and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly.
  • Being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring an effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.
  • To be the first point of contact on their shift for security function related queries resolving more complex queries utilising experience and knowledge referring any complaints with regards to security practices to the Security Management Team.
  • Leading/coordinating the first response of the incident at Bronze (operational) level
  • Ensures/manages contact and information provision/support to Fire and Rescue Services
  • Continuing to support incident management in a lead operational capacity after escalation to Emergency Services
  • Acting as Tactical Lead where required Assist the Site / Branch Manager with any other reasonable or practical requests

Essential Skills
  • 5 Year check-able work history
  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Valid CCTV Licence
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Calm under pressure
