We are the main operator in the area and Shrewsbury depot provides a mix of local, inter-urban and Park & Ride services connecting communities in Shrewsbury town and the surrounding areas.

Rates of pay:  Flat rate of £13.35 per hour Monday to Saturday.

No work on Sundays Good Friday paid Double Time

Hours of work and role:

37.5 hours per week (If you work less than this due to shift pattern do not worry, we will bump it up.) No Sundays Family friendly hours to suit and every other weekend off. Honestly Plenty of overtime available. No late nights, you will find the latest you will finish is by 21:30 and the earliest start at 5:15. Mixture of rotas including park and ride, town service and Inter-urban areas.

Requirements:

PCV Licence (Category D licence) Must have a UK driving licence. You will need to be over 18 with at least 6 months driving experience. No more than 6 points on your licence. Excellent customer service skills. You will be required to do a drug and alcohol test when you come for a driving assessment. (If you are on any on-going medication this is fine as long as we have your doctor’s approval that you are fit to drive our lovely buses)
