Responsibilities

The role will involve:Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standardsContinuous improvement of vehicle reliabilityMOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checksVehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)Shift work required - Working 5 days over 6 (Shifts between 05:30am - 14:00pm and 14:00pm - 22:00pm) No Sunday work

Qualifications

Requirements:Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent)If you are not qualified, applications may be considered from candidates with at least 5 years' experience in repair and maintenance of PSV/HGVKnowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislationInspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance - Desirable but not essentialElectrical circuits and systems knowledge - Desirable but not essentialA full UK driving licence (6 points or less)Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medicalAPPLY NOW to join the Arriva team to help deliver our vision of providing clean, sustainable and reliable transport services to our customers for a greener future.At Arriva we acknowledge the importance of our people's diverse experiences, talents and cultures.
