WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a great opportunity to work in a busy Powertrain department where you will be designing cooling systems from start to finish being involved in the release of the product and also supplier management. This role will not only give you a chance to learn and develop your knowledge of cooling systems and CAD but will also allow you the chance to travel overseas. Responsibilities include ensuring the content is properly specified, the supplier delivers against this specification and that the delivered system is fully verified for inclusion on a vehicle program meeting the programme requirements for quality, cost and time.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Build, maintain and manage relationships with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.

Contribute to the development and optimisation of module component costs, investment, vendor tooling and design and development

Work with and support a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate module concepts, features and alternatives and develop production releases

Work within a cross-functional team to ensure robust delivery. Develop the team through the engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs on time, quality and cost

 Meet operational targets created in the strategy phase to ensure they can be delivered robustly

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

Experience of delivery of modules including physical and software engineering, sourcing and delivery of components for vehicle programs

Experience of delivering mechatronics products through a team, utilising strong people management skills

Experience of delivering projects in an automotive or manufacturing environment

Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels
