We're currently looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary Teaching Assistants to join our supply team, providing valuable classroom support to students and teachers.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant working on supply, you'll work across a range of secondary schools in Flintshire, supporting teachers in delivering lessons, assisting students with their learning, and help to create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Whether you're an experienced TA or looking to gain hands-on experience in education, this role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to work in a range of school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Support individual students and small groups in understanding and completing their work.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Help with administrative tasks and ensure classroom resources are well-organised.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different schools as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to undergo one)
