Job Description


Are you an NPD Technologist looking for a new opportunity with a leading FMCG manufacturer in the North Wales area? 

Our client is seeking an experienced NPD Technologist to manage customer accounts with NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch. The candidate will be direct contact with key retailers, both face to and face and via written communications to create and develop innovative designs, capturing new key trends designs for both NPD and EPD projects. 

You'll need to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment ensuring all agreed key milestones are met, championing recipe creation and creating relevant documentation from concept to launch, inclusive of recipes, submission forms, QAS/CQMs, launch folders and factory paperwork.

You'll be responsible for sourcing new ingredients, fit for purpose for the design, budget and customer site requirements and attending all customer submission meetings. 

 



Requirements
  • Experience working within a NPD Technologist in the food industry essential, ideally within bakery.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and numerate approach to provide data on time in the right format.
  • Confident, articulate and courteous communicator over the phone, face-to-face and in writing.
  • Highly flexible, competent and adaptable and takes responsibility for own improvement.
  • Undertakes tasks with enthusiasm and always takes pride in his/her work.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels, considers others’ opinions and always treats others with respect.
  • A good understanding of the functions of ingredients used within the bakery sector.
  • Innovation and Creativity.

 Minimum of a degree level in a relevant scientific subject desirable.
