Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of German on behalf of a high-achieving, medium-sized secondary school in Cardiff to join their dynamic Modern Foreign Languages department. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality German lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and expectations.
• Support and inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding of German-speaking countries.
• Contribute to the vibrant ethos of the Modern Foreign Languages department, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and enrichment activities.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching German at Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential.
• A recognised British teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for modern languages.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage planning, teaching, and assessment effectively.
• A commitment to fostering a love of language learning and cultural awareness among students.
