GSL Education are looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Teach Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic school in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in behaviour management to make a significant impact in the classroom.


About the role:

As a Team Teach Teaching Assistant, you will use your expertise to support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Your role will involve implementing positive behaviour strategies and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities of the Team Teach Teaching Assistant:

  • Support students with challenging behaviours using Team Teach techniques.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and meeting students' needs.
  • Help create a positive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress.
  • Assist in monitoring and recording student progress, contributing to the planning and assessment process.


Requirements of the Team Teach Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with behaviour management.
  • Team Teach training or certification is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate and proactive approach to student support.
  • Ability to adapt to varying needs and situations within the school environment.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
