What are we looking for?
Proven current experience in RDBMS (Oracle 19c/Oracle Goldengate/Postgres 15 and optional Sql Server). Exposure to NoSql(Couchbase 7/Cassandra). Working closely with application development teams (DB placement, Database design, query performance tuning, DDL promotion, db upgrades, troubleshooting) and providing 3rd Line Production Support. Essential candidate is self motivated and willing to pick up new DB Challenges .Good DB experience (5+ or more years) to high level. Ideally used to working in an Agile environment – (familiarity with Jira, Rally, Kanban, Confluence experience an advantage), Good English, communication skills, DevOps skills (GIT, Liquibase, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) a bonus. Exposure to DB in the Cloud if possible. Ability to think outside the box and not depend on runbooks. May be required to work outside normal working hours when needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduate/ Postgraduate IT related qualifications preferable and ideally previously worked in financial company / fintech.
