Salary scale: £85-£100 dependent on experience and qualifications

Contract Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? Do you have the dedication and skills to help young learners thrive? Our Primary School in Hackney is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Autism Support Assistant to join our inclusive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
l Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with autism.
l Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
l Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.
l Support students in developing social, communication, and academic skills.
l Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
l Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
l Facilitate a positive and encouraging learning experience for students with autism.

Requirements:
· Experience working with children with autism is highly desirable.
· A patient, caring, and empathetic approach.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
· Relevant qualifications or training in autism support or special education is a plus.
