Security Officer Opportunity – Basildon
Are you an experienced Security Officer looking for a dynamic role?
Do you have a valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle?
We’re looking for a Security Officer with a minimum of 1 years experience, a valid SIA licence, and a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
You will join our established team at a prestigious site with a good client relationship, where you’ll be welcomed by colleagues who have built a strong working environment. Enjoy on-site parking and facilities, and receive full training from our site supervisor, equipping you for success.
Key Details:
- Hours: 42 hours per week covering days on a 4 on 4 off rotation ⏰
- Salary: £12.00 per hour
Job OpportunityKey Responsibilities:
- Report Writing Skills: Ability to document incidents and observations clearly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, team members, and the public.
- Adaptability: Capable of adjusting to various situations and responding effectively to changing circumstances or emergencies.
- Patrolling Skills: Competence in conducting internal and external patrols to monitor security and ensure a safe environment.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with using computers for reporting, data entry, and accessing security systems.
- Access Control: Manage visitor and contractor access to ensure safety and security on site.
- Signing Visitors In and Out: Manage the visitor log by accurately signing in and out individuals, ensuring proper access control and maintaining security protocols.
- Reading and Responding to Emails: Monitor and manage emails promptly, ensuring clear communication with team members and clients while addressing any inquiries or issues as needed.
