Join a growing Technical Support team working with modern cloud technologies, where you will resolve data and code issues for multiple .Net applications and services. You will analyse, identify, and fix software bugs reported by users or detected through monitoring, and troubleshoot and resolve support ticket bugs to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. Collaborating with 1st Line Support, DevOps, and Engineering teams, you will ensure swift issue resolution while monitoring support ticket queues to address incidents according to SLAs. You will develop and implement solutions for recurring issues to improve system reliability and efficiency, contributing to the continuous improvement of development and support processes through feedback and innovation. Providing technical guidance and training to 1st Line Support, you will enhance their troubleshooting capabilities and document solutions and processes to improve knowledge sharing and support efficiency. Additionally, you will have opportunities to improve your skills and stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies through training and certifications.

This role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. This is a hybrid role, and will be office based 3 days a week. Therefore you must live in commuting distance of Newcastle City Centre, UK and you must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities 

  • Join a growing Technical Support team working with modern cloud technologies

Requirements

  • Proficiency in C# .NET Framework, and the MVC pattern for backend development
  • Proficiency in LINQ patterns for database queries
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Unit Testing harnesses such as MSTest and Moq
  • Experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML for frontend development
  • Experience with bug tracking and ticketing systems, such as Azure DevOps
  • An understanding of Kanban/Agile workflows
  • Ability to follow processes, policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent quality of service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git, for managing code changes and collaboration
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
