Job summary

To co-ordinate and oversee all clerical functions in the Pharmacy Procurement and Homecare assist with all Pharmacy computer system administration and work will be carried out observing public sector payment targetsresolving invoices within agreed financial can be summarised according to the schedule with the post holder taking responsibility for organising and prioritising own workload, meeting agreed deadlines and ensuring that others in the Procurement Office are enabled to do the same.

Main duties of the job

Process Homecare transactions, ensuring they are completed before month line of contact for all enquiries regarding invoices.

Word processing using Word together with Excel to produce quality documentation including spreadsheet format respond to requests for 'Crystal' financial and usage reports under the supervision of the Procurement & System Manager

To book in prescriptions on the prescription tracking system and conduct all relevant checks relating to funding such as Blueteq, ICE and orders with suppliers for requested prescriptions whilst working with pharmacists.

Good standard of education (GCSE/O level or equivalent including Maths & English) Ability to lead a small team Clear and concise telephone manner Good organisational, time management and workload prioritisation skills Flexible, enthusiastic approach Able to deal with frequent interruptions, stressful situations or changing priorities whilst completing planned workload Demonstrates reliability and good time keeping Able to cope with short periods of moderate physical exertion and moderate to heavy lifting of pharmaceutical supplies
