Anexciting opportunity has arisen for an Industrial Placement Student to join ourteam at Rawcliffe Bridge, East Yorkshire for 12 months from August/September 2025.The successful candidate will be working on the research and development of globalprojects in our Sustainable Polymers Team. The role will involve thedevelopment of novel, green polymeric materials across all business sectors withinCroda. There will be significant opportunities to make decisions withinindividual projects and duties will include practical laboratory work, problemsolving, organisation, and report writing. The project work carried out duringthe placement will be of sufficient academic complexity to meet therequirements of a university industrial placement degree course. The successfulcandidate will benefit from regular career development & coaching meetings,networking opportunities, and advancement of skills.

Essentials:

A Level in Chemistry and be working towards a in a Chemistry or related degree You should have good laboratory skills and be able to communicate effectively both in reports and verbally You will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your own workload Teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role Passion for sustainability and green chemistry

Desirables:

Knowledge / experience of polymer chemistry Awareness of SHE within a lab environment
