SAP Change and Strategy Training Manager for Finance Transformation with S/4 HANA
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a prominent media client seeking a skilled SAP S/4 HANA Change Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and rolling out SAP S/4 HANA systems. This high-profile, big-budget project requires a professional who can also develop and execute effective training strategies.
Responsibilities for SAP Change Manager:
Change Management:
- Develop or improve the Change and Training strategies, guidelines and tools in use across the S/4 HANA transformation programme.
- Conduct change impact analyses, propose change initiatives and assess change readiness across various locations and waves.
- Create and execute change management plans, including communication, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management plans.
- Facilitate change management activities, such as roadshows and demonstrations, with local and functional teams and senior leadership as required
- Work with Product Owners and functional experts to guide and support them to prepare & facilitate townhalls, roadshows, demos and other sessions, including creation of templates and guidelines
- Work with Local Change Managers to prepare and issue local communications, in line with the Comms and Change Action Plan
- Contribute to global communications as needed
- Partner with the Communications team to create Project Team and End User Surveys
- Advise on Leadership engagement
- Monitor and report progress to TRANS4M programme leadership
- Design and implement change management metrics and adapt strategies or action plans as necessary to ensure successful adoption of the new platform.
Training Management:
- Design and implement a robust training strategy to ensure all users are effectively trained on SAP S/4 HANA and new business processes.
- Support or Lead Training Needs Analysis
- Prepare & deliver "Train The Trainer" training
- Work with Product Owners and functional experts to develop training materials, including user guides, QRG's, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops.
- Oversee training material creation and training delivery, including scheduling
- Coordinate & support training sessions for end-users.
- Partner with the PeopleNet team and others to ensure accurate and timely recording of training hours.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback and assessment results.
- Ensure training aligns with overall project timelines and milestones.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input & leadership on change and training-related topics.
- Facilitate or participate in Lessons Learned
Your Profile:
- University degree / academic qualifications in communications, business or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of Change Management principles & practices; and how they are applied to an SAP business transformation programme.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role/function in an international context.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation or similar ERP systems.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for driving change and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical mindset and a well-organised, detail-oriented approach.
- Willingness and ability to be "hands-on" and manage the complexities of a multi-location, multi-wave rollout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms. Proficiency in Jira is nice-to-have
- Project management skills and knowledge of agile methodology are nice-to- have
- Certification in Change management or project management is a nice-to-have.
