Job summary
The main objective of this post is to support the administrative functioning to ensure the smooth day-to-day operational running of the department.
This is a full time role; hours / cross site travel will be required (SACH / WGH) and line management experience is essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all administration related to the business of the Department is organized and completed in a timely fashion.
The post holder will have specific responsibilities for managing the team of medical secretaries, theatre utilization of urology lists, complaints, cancer reports, rota management and medical staff recruitment within the Department.

Job description
Job responsibilities
The post holder will have specific responsibilities for managing the team ofmedical secretaries, theatre utilization of urology lists, complaints, cancerreports, rota management and medical staff recruitment within the Department.
The post holder is a line manager, responsible for the management ofadministrative services within the Department. This will require the post holder toliaise with colleagues to ensure there is appropriate cover and that any problems or difficulties are dealt with promptly.

Knowledge of various computer systems Microsoft Office products, (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Access) Email (MS Outlook) Knowledge of the NHS national targets and KPI's. Knowledge of EPR systems
