Alliance Medical Cardiff is a specially designed unit, offering the only Open MRI scanner in Wales and an 80-mile radius, specialising in Musculoskeletal and Neurological scans.
This Open MRI scanner allows patients with claustrophobia or limited mobility access to specialist diagnostics..

Job description

Skills And Experience
The ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of MRI examinations and this would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience to further develop their career. The successful candidate will have a flexible and patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. We are looking for someone who can build an excellent rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and continue to provide high standards of care and ideal candidate should have some (1 2 years) MRI experience with the ability and organisational skills to work with the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy are essential. The candidate should be accustomed to performing different type of MRI scans on a routine basis.
Previous cannulation experience would be an advantage.
IV Cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required)
