Location: Manchester - remoteworking available, with occasional travel to the officerequired

Whatwill your responsibilities be?

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be working withinthe Kier Professional Services team, supporting them with thedelivery of a broad range of Electrical related services . You will also contribute to the delivery of more complexservices 

What will your dayto day activities include?

  • Outline engineering design from feasibility, deignbriefs, or detailed user requirement specifications.
  • Production of detailed specifications to facilitatecompliance with client requirements, e.g. Control philosophy, Cableselection & calculations, Cable, Load, & InstrumentSchedules, Instrument selection, Cable Block and P&IDDiagrams
  • Production of, load analysis, fieldcabling design and discrimination in line with BS7671, usingproprietary software.
  • Review and sizing oftransformers & generators.
  • Preparations ofElectrical Design work quotations.

This role ofSenior Electrical Engineer is great for you if:

  • You are a technician or incorporated member ofa relevant professional institution (e.g. EngTech MICE, IEng MICE,etc.)
  • You have relevant postgraduateexperience
  • You have Electrical lighting designexperience
