What will your responsibilities be?

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be working within the Kier Professional Services team, supporting them with the delivery of a broad range of Electrical related services . You will also contribute to the delivery of more complex services

What will your day to day activities include?

  • Outline engineering design from feasibility, deign briefs, or detailed user requirement specifications.
  • Production of detailed specifications to facilitate compliance with client requirements, eg Control philosophy, Cable selection & calculations, Cable, Load, & Instrument Schedules, Instrument selection, Cable Block and P&ID Diagrams
  • Production of, load analysis, field cabling design and discrimination in line with BS7671, using proprietary software.
  • Review and sizing of transformers & generators.
  • Preparations of Electrical Design work quotations.

This role of Senior Electrical Engineer is great for you if:

  • You are a technician or incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (eg EngTech MICE, IEng MICE, etc.)
  • You have relevant postgraduate experience
  • You have Electrical lighting design experience
