Position: Practice Nurse

Working closely with the NHS Wales Health Boards, along with other healthcare facilities and institutions in Wales. You will provide your expertise and professionalism to ensure the well-being of patients.  

Key Responsibilities: 
As a Practice Nurse in Wales, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 
  • Providing comprehensive nursing care, including vaccinations, wound management, and health screenings. 
  • Assisting with chronic disease management and supporting patients in managing their health conditions effectively. 
  • Conducting health assessments and health promotion activities to improve patient well-being. 
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and patient-centred care. 
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. 
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the practice. 
  • Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality. 
  • Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices. 
Requirements: 
  • Valid and active NMC Registration. 
  • 12 Months proven experience as a Registered Nurse with medical expertise. 
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Empathetic, caring, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
