Position: Practice Nurse
Role Overview: As a Practice Nurse, at MPS Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and support. Working closely with the NHS Wales Health Boards, along with other healthcare facilities and institutions in Wales. You will provide your expertise and professionalism to ensure the well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Practice Nurse in Wales, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care, including vaccinations, wound management, and health screenings.
- Assisting with chronic disease management and supporting patients in managing their health conditions effectively.
- Conducting health assessments and health promotion activities to improve patient well-being.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and patient-centred care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the practice.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Valid and active NMC Registration.
- 12 Months proven experience as a Registered Nurse with medical expertise.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic, caring, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
