As a Project Manager you will lead in the delivery of development projects that impact on the full value chain of the business; working with cross functional areas and the B2B team to co –ordinate and implement.

 

This role will drive the teams performance ensuring leads are followed up and converted in the appropriate channel, ensuring that the different locations are working collaboratively, and that we are maximising both sales and margin as a result.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Successful delivery of defined B2B projects on time and within budget
  • Work across multiple functional areas of the business in order to identify and deliver the best solution to business problems
  • Effectively scope business work streams to deliver maximum return on investment Work with multi channel business owners in order to understand integration and drive efficiencies. Deliver projects across the entire value chain of the business from Distribution, Finance, Commercial, Marketing & Multiple Channels etc
  • Implement effective controls; identifying potential slippage, overspend or quality problems, ensuring the project brought back on target and that the impact of proposed scope & requirement changes are understood and agreed by the sponsor/programme manager
  • Deliver additional efficiency, integration and business process improvements making B2B processes easier, simpler or cheaper, reducing & removing complexity & manual intervention Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Contribute towards the overall B2B development programme


Key Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Previous project management / delivery experience with experience in complex, cross functional and multichannel project delivery essential. Evidence of Prince 2 or other project management tools to deliver.
  • Impacting and influencing various business areas to define the scope and delivery of project goals. Managing multiple business area owners, stakeholders and working parties, coordinating activity to deliver to project, identifying and mitigating risks
  • PMO experience in co-ordination of multiple projects and programmes, chairing meetings, driving actions and following-up on commitments from other departments, identifying risk, mitigation and appropriate escalations
  • Specialism or knowledge & appreciation of a number of the following; multichannel retail, logistics, supply chain & commercial, B2B, Oracle, IT change control and 3rd party supplier management.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excel, Word, Power Point (analysis, measurement, reporting, presentation)
  • Ability to work with an ambiguous problem / project scope & able to identify the opportunities for process improvement and systems development. Ability to identify & articulate potential solutions, business benefits including risks & impact
  • Excellent communication skills, highly organised, data and analytically driven
