Are you a Sunseeker Teaker?

We are seeking highly proficient Carpenters to join the Sunseeker Teak Deck team in Poole, Dorset.

As a Teak Deck Carpenter, you will gain experience across the numerous boat lines of our extensive product range, completing bespoke carpentry work packages within small teams, akin to hardwood flooring, but with highly valuable teak.

As a highly skilled Carpenter, you will consistently strive for an impeccable quality of work, completing a thorough job with patience and passion. You'll likely possess a strong practical understanding of a variety of materials and adhesives, including glues, stainless steel, and glass.

A Sunseeker Teak Carpenter will be comfortable working with exact tolerances when scribing materials into irregular shapes in awkward positions. A Teak Carpenter will also be thorough and precise when sanding and preparing decks for installation.

Sunseeker is proud to be the first boatbuilder in the world to utilise sustainable and ethical teak from Ghana's Mere Plantation, an establishment which invests a significant proportion of profit into the development of their local community and to challenge the impact of deforestation through positive action.

You'll be based at Sunseeker Shipyards or Sunseeker Willis Way in Poole, Dorset. You'll have the opportunity to work at our largest sites within our award-winning workforce, truly becoming a part of the Sunseeker family.

Our pay rates

  • Basic hourly rates from £14.00 to £16.05, depending on experience
  • Overtime rates of up to £24.07 (x1.5 rate) and £32.10 (x2 rate, Sundays/Bank Holidays) - please note that Overtime is not guaranteed and it is allocated based on business needs at the time
