Caretaker or Cleaner - South West Norse

Location: Kentisbeare Primary School, EX15 2AD Salary: Caretaker: £28,.20 pro rata / £13.94 per hour. Cleaner: £23,.20 pro rata / £11.44 per hour Hours per week:  Caretaker: 20 hpw, Cleaner: 15 hpw Shift Pattern:  Caretaker: Monday to Friday, 15:30 19:30, Cleaner: Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 18:30 (term time only)

South West Norse is a FM provider delivering support services to businesses across cleaning and facilities management disciplines across the region. We currently have two great opportunities available for a Caretaker or Cleaner to join our established team at Kentisbeare Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

Role

As Caretaker, you will be working on-site under the direction of an area supervisor, ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards. You will be responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage.

This position will also hold further site management duties, and you will be expected to support with general maintenance issues as well as being responsible for site security and some minor handyman duties.

As a cleaner, you will be working both independently and within a close team. You will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Your Experience:

Capable of delivering a high level of customer service Confident working both on your own and as part of a team Good interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with the client Comfortable engaging with members of the public Any knowledge of health & safety guidelines relevant to the role would be an advantage
