Caretaker/Cleaner - Kentisbeare Primary School

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Caretaker or Cleaner to join our team at Kentisbeare Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards, including equipment and product management. You will also support with general maintenance issues, site security, and minor handyman duties.
As a Cleaner, you will work independently and as part of a team to carry out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services, ensuring high standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.
Your Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Comfortable engaging with members of the public
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines relevant to the role is an advantage
