Asa Software Technical Writer (C) youwill:
  • Createcomprehensive and clear documentation for software productsdeveloped in C Python and Embedded C ensuring that complextechnical content is accessible to intendedaudiences.
  • UtilizeCMS XML JSON and DITA for authoring and managing documentationensuring consistency and quality across all documentationassets.
  • Collaboratewith software development teams to gain an indepth understanding ofproduct features and document software development processesinstallations andinterconnections.
  • Participateactively in Agile development cycles providing timely documentationupdates that align with sprint releases and productiterations.
  • Enhancedocumentation quality through continuous improvement effortsincorporating feedback from users developers and stakeholders toimprove readability andusefulness.

  • Proficiencyin understanding and interpreting programming code developed in CPython and EmbeddedC.

  • Abasic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)and experience documenting software developmentprocesses.
  • Exceptionalwritten English skills with the ability to convey complex technicalinformation in clear concise and engaginglanguage.
  • Handsonexperience with Agile development methodologies with the ability toadapt to rapid project iterations and changingpriorities.

What You Bring to the Table:5-10 years of proven experience as a Software Technical Writer,with a strong portfolio of writing samples that demonstrate yourexpertise. Proficiency in understanding and interpretingprogramming code developed in C++, Python, and Embedded C. Solidexperience with content management systems (CMS) and authoring inXML, JSON, and DITA. A basic understanding of the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience documenting softwaredevelopment processes. Exceptional written English skills, with theability to convey complex technical information in clear, concise,and engaging language. Hands-on experience with Agile developmentmethodologies, with the ability to adapt to rapid projectiterations and changing priorities.
