WHAT TO EXPECT

We are pursuing an accomplished Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in advancing our Battery Cell Design Quality realm.

You will be working with the Battery Cell Design Team, which is one of the fastest-growing teams in the JLR business. You will be tasked to focus and respond to the increasing mix of BEV vehicles in our cycle plan.

You will be at the forefront of design and quality management within the Battery Systems Advanced Concepts & Research Pillar team.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Development and maintenance of new D - FMEAs Requirements and test procedure structuring, authoring and releasing Support quality projects that arise within the current product creation projects using 6 - Sigma methodology  Work closely with the systems engineering pillar within the battery department Support the wider cell development community with quality process expertise

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Experience of the multi-physics nature associated with battery design and integration Understanding the complex interactions of cell sub-components, and how they affect each other Ability to read and decompose legislative text into working-level requirements Ability to help build and lead a winning team in the field of quality work for battery pack future strategies and research Knowledge of the BEV Test and Validation and battery landscape across the worldwide supply base or other OEM manufacturers to allow credible and competitive concepts and strategies to be followed
