About the Role

Blofield surgery are looking for a care co-ordinator/medical administrator to work within our friendly care-ordinating administration team. The role is permanent for 30 hours per week and salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

As a care co-ordinator, you will ensure the practice continues to provide the best level of care to its patients through proper implementation of new and existing primary care services. You will also support with national campaigns (such as influenza and covid vaccinations) to ensure our patients are given every opportunity to attend. You will also have a good level of IT knowledge and be able to support the practice Team on a daily basis.

In return you will work for a friendly, forward thinking and sociable practice with a competitive salary, above standard holiday entitlement and be able to be part of the generous NHS pension scheme.

About the Candidate Some prior knowledge of primary care, SystmOne and SNOMED coding would be advantageous however not necessary as full training will be given. About Us At the core of our practice values is patient care, satisfaction and team wellbeing and we believe a happy team equals happy patients We are a semi-rural practice caring for just over 8500 patients. Having just undergone a large extension project to the current building and increasing our clinical space, we are exciting about the opportunities for patient care that lay ahead. We are a team of around 40 members including 3 GP Partners and we are also a dispensing practice. We ae a sociable bunch and offer team events in the the Summer and Winter and also like to have the odd quiz night or two.
