The John Farman Intensive Care Unit (JVF ICU) is a 32-bedded Critical Care Unit admitting over 1800 adult patients annually. NCCU is a mixed level 2/3 Critical Care Unit which currently comprises 27 beds and is dedicated to the management of patients with acute brain injury and major trauma. The NCCU has an international reputation for clinical and translational research, particularly in the areas of traumatic brain injury and neuroimaging.
