More detail about the role

Due to a mix of retirement, relocation and expansion we are looking for a number of experienced MSK Physiotherapists with evidence of study in MSK at Level 7.

Our posts are blended, with each comprising either ESP or AP and FCP. We are happy to offer either full or part time opportunities. The ability to be mobile within the trust area is a requirement.

The roles:

ESP roles are community based and receive referral from Primary care and MSK physio. In these you will assess patients with hip, knee or shoulder conditions. You will investigate to provide definitive diagnosis and undertake shared decision making to decide on most appropriate steps, including surgical intervention. You will have the opportunity to attend orthopaedic MDT at the RDUH (a centre of excellence) for case discussion. You will support clinical leadership of the MSK service.

AP roles are integrated into our MSK Physio teams with complex case review, high level rehab, investigation, joint injection and supporting the Team Leads in clinical leadership of the service. There is specific capacity for those with a spinal interest.

FCP roles are based in GP practices in the area. We have a strong service with excellent feedback from patients and GPs alike. You will assess, investigate, manage or refer either undifferentiated patients booked by reception or patients seen by other clinicians where second opinion is required.

The Team:
