About the Company: Our client is a reputable construction company specializing in groundworks. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for an upcoming prison scheme. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage multiple site managers and ensure the successful delivery of the project. 

Job Description: We are looking for a Groundworks Project Manager to oversee a significant prison project. The successful candidate will manage up to 3-4 site managers, coordinating various parcels of work within the prison grounds. Due to the nature of the project, you must be hold valid DBS clearance to work inside the secure areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating up to 3-4 site managers across different work parcels.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Liaising with prison authorities, project stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports of site activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, particularly within the secure areas of the prison.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in groundworks
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • DBS clearance.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
