The Vice Chancellor’s Office is a dynamic and busy team, responsible for supporting our Vice Chancellor’s Executive team. We now have a vacancy for a new full time Project Manager reporting to the Strategic Projects Manager. 

The successful candidate will manage or contribute to the management of a variety of key projects, ranging from capital and construction to academic developments and business improvement. Working alongside colleagues from across the university, from Academics and Professional Services staff to Directors and members of the Executive, they will play a key role in supporting the growth of the university and will become involved in some of its biggest and most high-profile strategic developments. 

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated professional, able to work on their own initiative, and as part of a team.  In a fast-paced, demanding business environment, you will be calm under pressure, highly organised and able to prioritise effectively. An ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and strict attention to detail is essential.  You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and will have experience of handling confidential material and using tact and discretion. 

Using your working knowledge of digital products such as SharePoint, Project and other Microsoft Office applications, you will assist in ensuring that technology is used effectively across our portfolio of projects.  

Hybrid working arrangements can be supported for this role in line with business need.
