Role Summary:

Zeeco is looking for self-motivated people with hands-on technical capabilities around combustion equipment to call predominantly on Refining and Petro-Chemical end-users and build our business whether for new equipment or service opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contact existing and new clients to offer technical assistance (forging relationships and building trust).
  • Contact existing and new clients to promote Zeeco products and services.
  • Identify key personnel and establish and maintain working relationships.
  • Identify, negotiate with, and influence decision makers.
  • Assist with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of combustion equipment.
  • Understand end-user's needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Work to generate enquiries.
  • Follow up and provide feedback on any open quotes.
  • Assist in closing orders.
  • Identify end-user facility maintenance turnaround dates and offer Zeeco products and services to support the turnaround.
  • Assist with establishing various working agreements with strategic end-users.
  • Increase the productivity of Zeeco's manufacturers' reps through technical and sales support and education.
  • Provide feedback to Zeeco's product groups for continuous improvement.

The Candidate:

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Significant experience of combustion equipment
  • Experience in chemical processing or hydrocarbon processing industry
  • Experience in sales or a customer service role, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Confidence in their technical abilities and problem solving ability
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to identify and influence decision makers through effective and persuasive negotiation
  • Independent and proactive, able to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment, working well with others at all levels
