Person Specification

Knowledge

Essential

Up to date Clinical knowledge of clinical and professional practice in upper limb orthopaedics and hand therapy and in splinting and cast bracing

Desirable

Awareness of local, regional and national healthcare priorities.

Qualifications

Essential

Graduate Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy State Registration

Further Training

Essential

Attendance at postgraduate courses relevant to upper limb orthopaedics and hand therapy Clinical educator training

Desirable

Leadership training

Experience

Essential

Experience on a junior rotation Rotation in MSk hands and upper limb

Desirable

Experience of clinical supervision of occupational therapy students
