The Role:

As the Head of Email, you will lead the client portfolio across all relevant platforms, driving service development with an integrated understanding of the Email industry. Your expertise will ensure Visualsoft remains at the forefront of the industry, consistently delivering exceptional ROI and leveraging the latest technology and partnerships.

Training, mentoring and coaching the team is essential to enable a best in class product/service at every client touchpoint providing exceptional expertise and customer service.

The Head of Email will be the ultimate product expert within Visualsoft and main go-to for anything Email related.

What you'll be doing:

Client & Commercial Growth:

  • Oversee the growth and retention of the client portfolio.
  • Identify and execute Email sales opportunities, preparing sales documentation and pitches.
  • Manage and grow partner relationships to enhance service delivery.
  • Continuously strive to produce the highest results for Visualsoft clients via Email.

Expertise & Knowledge:

  • Maintain expert knowledge of the Email industry, staying updated with emerging tech and trends.
  • Be the go-to expert within the agency for all things Email.
  • Maintain and develop sales documentation related to Email services.

Leadership & Development:

  • Train, mentor, and develop Email specialists to enhance their expertise.
  • Coach and mentor team members to fulfill their potential and career goals.
  • Lead and engage at external events and conferences to represent Visualsoft.

Service & Process Improvement:

  • Maintain and regularly review our best-in-class Email offering to ensure it evolves with industry trends.
  • Strive to improve and maintain processes and procedure documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Email-related client issues escalated to you.
  • Support cross-channel and cross-team initiatives within Visualsoft.

Requirements

What we'd love to see:

  • Extensive and proven experience at a senior level in Email management, either agency or client side.
  • Expertise in external Email platforms, tools, analytics, forecasting, and measurement.
  • Experience in building and executing Email strategies.
  • Proven track record of managing a specialist team with the ability to lead, grow, and adapt.
  • Strong client-facing experience and proven strategy presentation skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident in both written and spoken communication with excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and use own initiative.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do approach.
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven leadership abilities.
  • Experience in team management, coaching, and development.

Desirable, but certainly useful:

  • Experience in ecommerce and other digital media channels.
  • Familiarity with Google Data Studio, Attribution, Google Tag Manager, and analytics tools.
