Role Overview: Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the most prestigious retail environments? As the Concession Manager at Harrods, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our flagship concession. Leading by example, you will oversee operations, drive sales, and ensure an unparalleled level of customer service. Join us in this exciting opportunity to shape the future of luxury retail at Harrods.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to exceed sales targets, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with head office to devise and execute sales, CRM, and marketing plans tailored to the Harrods clientele.
- Execute promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales and meet store targets, while maintaining the brand's luxury positioning.
- Provide actionable insights by reporting sales results, identifying best sellers, and addressing product needs to head office departments.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding processes, nurturing talent and driving incentive schemes to support career growth.
- Train and empower your team to deliver exceptional performance, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
- Proactively address employee concerns and conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage daily team briefings and communicate effectively with HR regarding payroll changes.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Loss Prevention, HR policies, and Cash Management.
- Efficiently manage staff rota to ensure adequate floor coverage and smooth store operations.
- Monitor and optimize store costs, including general supplies, labor, shipping, and gifting expenses.
- Take a proactive role in inventory management to ensure alignment with store targets and minimize stock discrepancies.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Strong sales and customer service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions to optimise concession performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Previous retail management experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving store/concession performance.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising standards and inventory management.
