We are a fast-growing, global content agency that delivers amazing audience-led content that helps brands connect with their audiences. We work for global brands and organisations including Unilever, Campari, Sanofi and many others. 

We are looking for a dynamic social copywriter for a six-month pilot of a new Content Squad at Greenpark. This is a dedicated content role with the primary objective of maximising brand awareness for an exciting brand in Saudi Arabia. This role will be based in the UK, South Africa, UAE or Saudi Arabia and managed out of the UK. Social Media excellence, brand affinity, performance mindset and creative ideas will all be essential to this role. Preference will be given to social experts with experience in the hospitality and tourism industries.

Why the job exists

To work with the Content Squad Lead in crafting engaging copy for social media for a Saudi hospitality and tourism company.  To intimately understand the company and its work to represent them immaculately in the written word.  To assist in content planning, ways of working and content production and processing. To establish and maintain tone of voice and brand guidelines and be guardians of these guidelines. To help with multiple content executions across social including captions, supers, scripts and creative executions across organic and paid.  To add expertise in what drives engagement and conversion across organic and paid social.  To bring insights and expertise to the content squad on social channels and best practice including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X among others. 

Responsibilities

Writing social media copy for in multiple formats, as required, to include captions, supers, creative executions and scripts. Write persuasive copy to lead audiences to take action from organic and paid social posts.  Create and maintain social content calendars that align to strategic priorities.  Working within copy and channel best practices to deliver exceptional quality for our clients. Participating in ideation sessions for content creation, where required.  Be aware of trends and latest algorithm changes for each social platform and ability to advise on copy creation accordingly. Be aware of trends in the subject matter and which are good opportunities for the brand. Using insights and data reports to inform executions and ideas going forward.

Required Experience

2-3 years writing copy for various social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X and an in-depth understanding of each social platform and how it functions.  Experience writing about tourism and hospitality. Experience working across paid and organic social and the different copywriting requirements for each. Experience in writing different cop executions including captions, supers, scripts, creative executions and all other associated social media copy.  Keen understanding of social copywriting best practices. Ability to adapt to brand tone of voice and turn their hand to different subject matter day-to-day.  Experience in Community Management and constructing responses for the community.

Reporting and Communication Structure

This role reports to the Content Squad Lead based in the UK, South Africa, UAE or Saudi Arabia

Overall quality and performance of copywriting output Copy outputs and deadlines being met each month; Client relationship and satisfaction with copy quality and performance; Peer feedback as collated by line manager; Execution and review of best practice copy generation and TOV guide created; Relationships with other operating companies/departments; Interpersonal/communication skills;  Being a team player; Demonstrating the core values of Green Park Content;
